Refund Policy

1. Overview
Lily Inc., operating under the brand Wayfound Studio, stands behind its work. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
2. One-Time Website Plans (Basic / Standard / Premium)
2.1 Before Project Spec-Lock — Full Refund
"Spec-lock" is the point at which your onboarding is complete: all required materials have been provided, your section selections from our catalog are finalized, and the build specification is approved by you.
Before spec-lock, you may request a full refund at any time. Stripe processing fees (approximately 3%) are non-refundable.
2.1.1 Inactivity / Abandoned Orders
If 30 days pass after purchase with no engagement from you (no onboarding progress, no response to our messages), Wayfound may at its discretion close the order and refund you the plan price less Stripe processing fees. We will notify you of the closure via your contact email. This is not a forfeiture — you receive your refund — and is intended to prevent indefinite holds on dormant orders.
2.2 After Spec-Lock, Before Final Delivery — Partial Refund (Discretionary)
Once your project has reached spec-lock and build work has begun, refunds are issued only in cases of significant scope misalignment caused by us, or failure to deliver per the agreed scope. Refund amounts are determined case-by-case and typically range from 0%–50% of the plan price, based on work completed.
2.3 After Final Delivery — No Refund, Revision Support
After final delivery (live site or design package), no refunds are issued. We provide revision support per your plan's included revisions, and additional revisions may be available for purchase.
2.4 Premium Plans
Premium plans may have custom refund terms documented in the individual scope agreement. The scope agreement supersedes this Section in case of conflict.
3. Monthly Maintenance Subscription ($149/month)
- You may cancel at any time before your next billing date.
- Cancellation prevents future charges; the current month is not refundable.
- We do not pro-rate cancellations within a billing cycle.
4. Add-On Services
Refunds for add-on services (SEO, content, additional pages, etc.) follow the same structure as Section 2 unless specified otherwise in the add-on agreement.
5. Chargebacks
We aim to resolve concerns directly. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution. Please email contact@wayfoundstudio.com first.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email contact@wayfoundstudio.com with:
- Order confirmation or invoice number.
- Reason for request.
- Date of purchase.
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. The Policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
